~Overall~

在此輪Tasting中,以Chateau Sociando Mallet最具複雜度和層次感,而Chateau d'Aguilhe, Chateau Phelan Segur, 和Chateau Bernadotte也還不錯。

Chateau Villa Bel-Air(此酒雖被主辦單位放在Crus Bourgeouis,事實上它並不算是)Chateau Les Ormes de Pez都屬中度酒體,Pagodes de Cos與d'Aiguilhe單寧強且很抓舌。

~Selections~

Chateau Sociando Mallet
Color:和Ch. Haut Marbuzet和Ch. Villa Bel-Air一樣,色澤都較其他酒淡
Smell:除了果香外,還有些青椒的香氣,一點點earthy,蠻優雅的,感覺藏了很多東西在內。
Taste:剛開始有一些濕泥土的味道,之後有許多黑色漿果香氣出現,非常豐富的滋味與口感,very attractive, finish is lovely. 此酒比其他7款酒有更多的香料系香味。

Chateau d'Aguilhe
Color:較Ch. Villa Bel-Air深一些,也較偏紫
Smell:有點墨水、鉛筆心味,黑色漿果香,一點點薄荷
Taste:非常集中的香氣,單寧很強,然而果香豐富,放久一點再品嚐,還有巧克力味跑出來。

Chateau Bernadotte
Color:深暗紅色
Smell:Meaty,動物性的香氣,一些些花香,後段酒精感稍強
Taste:香氣剛開始感覺有些被酒精覆蓋過,然而尾韻很不錯,單寧有但蠻順口的。

Chateau Phelan Segur
Color:屬這8款酒中顏色最濃的,和Pagodes de Cos相當
Smell:圓熟且濃郁的黑色漿果香氣
Taste:很集中的香氣,滋味很豐富,柔順的單寧,尾韻長且甜美。感覺是可以早喝的一款Bordeaux 2000。

Fruit at a perfect pitch of ripeness with notes of black cherry. Layered middle palate the fruit fleshing out a firm, tannic structure. Overall good balance and well-integrated oak. Ready 2008-2010.

Chateau Bernadotte
屬Haut Medoc區,WA-87~88,WS-82
Wine Advocate評:
This is the first vintage that rachets up the level of quality from this estate owned by the proprietor of Pichon-Lalande. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, it reveals a certain affinity to Pichon-Lalande. Chocolate scents intermixed with sexy, creamy, black currant and underbrush notes jump from the glass. There is good density, an up-front, expansive style, medium body, and sweet tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2014.

Pagodes de Cos
屬St Estephe區,2nd wind of Chateau Cos d’Estournel,不是Crus Bourgeouis
NK Yong評:
Purple black; very ripe fruit nose. Very fleshy, very ripe lush fruit. Delectable.

Chateau Les Ormes de Pez
屬St. Estpehe區,WA:88~90,WS:89
Steven Spurrier, Decanter April 2001評:
Rich and plumy, explosively blackcurrant nose; won’t show much complexity as it matures, but will always rich and plummy.

Chateau Phelan Segur
屬St.-Estephe區,WA:86~87,WS:89
Decanter評:
Full intense color, slightly meaty and gamey, quite good richness and quite fleshy, elegant and restrained. Lovely.

Chateau Haut Marbuzet
屬St.-Estephe區,WS:88
Jancis Robinson, April 2002評:
Rich on palate, though light on subtlety.

Chateau Sociando Mallet
屬Haut-Medoc區,WA:90~92,WS:91
Decanter評:
Very perfumed, aromas of cassis, touch honeyed and vanilla hued. Lovely soft ripe complex fruit, with touch of bitterness on the tannins which will subside. Good length and blackcurrant fruit.
